Ms. Laura began the webinar by emphasizing the necessity of effective communication with all parties involved in the application process, particularly senior management and HR personnel. It is crucial to respond promptly to their emails with courtesy and treat everyone with respect. She mentioned that we should be aware of any spelling errors in both résumé and email that can give the candidate a negative impression. Aside from that, preparing and checking your laptop a day ahead of time might help the interview process go more smoothly. During the session, Ms. Laura underlined the need of not just elaborating our responses but also keeping them engaging for the interviewer! Remember to ask questions during the interview and follow up with a “Thank You” note to show our interest in the position.
