Plexus offers its very own technical academy program and graduate program to address different graduate roles be it kickstarting one’s career or internship placement. The Plexus technical academy is a highly structured 3-part program that is catered for engineering fresh graduates to develop their careers. At the end of the program, participants will be equipped with the necessary knowledge as well as technical leadership skills required for career advancement. For the first part, the the graduates are to be exposed into different job roles that enable them to determine their strengths and weaknesses. Secondly, the graduates will need to focus on building specialized knowledge and skills for specific functional areas as well as technical presentation skills whilst the last part of this program focuses on building knowledge and skills for technical leadership. The Graduate Trainee Program however is a 12-month program that provides graduates product realization and multifunctional exposure with the intent to develop a Plexus engineer and future business/technical leader.
The Plexus Industrial Training program is a minimum 3-month placement duration program. Through this program, internship students will be exposed to on-the-job training program such as orientation and engagement program, at the same time exposing them to extra-curricular activities such as CSR activities, trainee group activities, employee branding and ambassadorship in social media and campus recruitment activities.
On the last note, Plexus’ expectation on new hires requires graduates to be open-minded to new ideas, agile in adapting to changes and being able to communicate and know when to ask questions. The key takeaway for soon-to-be graduates is to engage and be alert at all times as tasks in a multinational corporation are fulfilled as a team.
